Come Take a Trip with Me by DesignsByEve Come Take a Trip with Me by DesignsByEve
So I was rendering some promo shots of Tanya for Sabby, and I fell in love with this shot. Of course then I had to in and change some textures around, add a full scene around her, and voila! Got another shot we both loved that I'm gonna have to give her own scene as well :D Big :huggle: to Sabby! This is my girl, who has my middle name. Of course she had to be a curvy red head :giggle:

V4 with Tanya by Sabby; Aoife hair; mix match outfit textured with Parrotdolphin's Dirty Pretty & more; some of Antfarm's "Never" sets; Sky Boat & Celestial Traveler ships by 1971s; and a whole mess of misc stuff I'm too lazy to type up :D

Very cool Eve! Love the attention to all the little details. I need to get more bits and pieces as I dont have enough to really fill and image like this. Wonderful job! :)

Thanks hon :D You'd prolly be surprised at some of the stuff I bet you have hiding in your props runtime ;) Half the fun of doing pieces like this, is browsing thru the goodies cuz half the time I forget what I've got, or where the hell I put it this time LoL We won't mention the things I still need to actually install *snort*

Well actually I wouldn't :( I dumped my entire runtime when I got my new PC in favor of starting over so I could find things better as the runtime O had going I had had since I started using Poser and it was a HOT MESS LOL But so now I am down to kinda bare bones till I find time to install stuff which I never seem to find time to do ROFL

Ewwww! I had to do that between Poser 6 & 7 when I tried to just copy my runtime from the old to the new and totally borked it up. I tell ya, things would be much easier to get reinstalled or initially even, if Daz didn't force the exe's on us instead of zips. I never install directly anyway, so it just means more clicking and dicking around for me to get it done. At least I've discovered that if I use my Wacom instead of the trackball, my wrist doesn't get sore from all the incessant clicking LoL

Eh I really don't find one easier then the other. In general the Exes are more clicks though in the same spot so you can kinda just keep your hand in one place LOL and they are easier on new people, exes there's more room for stupidity which can cause a mess later (which was my case ROFL) That being said what I do miss is DAZ's DVD service cuz I totally woulda bought the stuff on disk over the whole reset...redownload...reset...redownload on and on BLEH I shop too much me thinks LOL

See that's the thing tho, they give the exes with one excuse being to help the newbies. To me, I'd rather learn where everything belongs so I -know- where to look for it when I wanna use it. Other than stuff that has to be installed in the main runtime, I only have one on my external, and it's anally organized LoL Give me a folder full of 20 zips vs 20 exes any day, and I'll have it all installed before you click thru half the exes :giggle:

Well I think it may have been in consideration of those in other countries who's native tongue isn't English and may have some trouble sorting out where to unzip to though I do agree I "personally" prefer to have zips as well. I know at one point me and Barb considered doing the exe thing for our own stores as then you can activate the readme automatically and put in info on certain things so you know people saw it but both of us ultimately decided against it because of all the clicking though it doesnt bother me bother me. :) Some people seem to like them..some hate them. I think it just depends probably :)

Your girl is gorgeous, with a hint of danger :) But the background is astounding, love all the details! The subtle desaturated colour palette is brilliant too!

Thank you! I do try to keep things rather desaturated if I don't go all the way sepia toned for my steampunk stuff :D Oh and I finally had to force myself to stop adding bits and bobs or I'd have never rendered it LoL
